WHEN
Saturday & Sunday, April 3-4, 2010. 6am start on Saturday in front of Lloyd Hall, 36 hour time limit.
WHERE
Schuylkill Loop, Center City Philadelphia. This 8.4 mile partially shaded asphalt/concrete (with grass on the side) multi-use path along the Schuylkill River is flat with only one road crossing but with a few parking lot entrances to cross. The loop is lit by street lights but you may wish to bring a headlamp or flashlight just in case.
HOW MUCH
Free. This is not sanctioned by any governing body nor is it a qualifier for any other race. This is a low key fun run where you will self support. You are only competing against yourself and your goal is to finish. No fee, no aid stations, no frills. Just fun and challenge! T-shirts will be available for purchase if ordered by March 1st; email your RD for details.
HOW MANY
As we'll be just a bunch of runners out for a nice long run together, what does it matter?!? Official results will be posted for everyone who completes 4 loops (33.6 miles) or more up to 12 loops (100.8 miles).
Read the 2009 RD Race Report to get a feel for what this race is all about.
